Finishing a marathon race is like finishing a long journey, that’s the way from the student of Zamboanga City used to do it. It’s like a journey that has many obstacles along the way. Mary Grace Delos Santos a Commerce Student of Universidad de Zamboanga makes a big impression every time she joins a race, she’s one of the best female athletes. When she run in the 2008 edition of Milo marathon in Cagayan city, a motorcycle hammered her that caused her bleeding, she stops for awhile and continued to run despite the injury from the incident, she overcome it and eventually won the race.
In Cebu city, the Cebuanos considers her as the “Queen of the road”, after dominating all the races that she joins, feared is by many athletes in her event.
She’s the pride of the city of Zamboanga, and I am so proud of her accomplishments, I have known her very much, since we’ve been team members in PRISAA in Athletic sports. She’s a good friend, a good student to our sports coach. Her accomplishment gives me eagerness to write in the sports blogs praising her different success, and to inform the world that a Zamboangueña can compete against the best in the region.

Chess is a board game played between two players; it is a famous sports in Europe, played by millions of people worldwide, at home, casinos. Clubs and etc...In all sports, in order to become a good chess player one needs to develop good mental concentration and a good sports coach.
In the chess sports books, The Philippines is known in Asia as the country to have the first asian chess grandmaster in the person of Eugene Torre. Now good news to all Filipinos around the world for having 16 year old Wesley So a high school student and the 7th grandmaster of the Philippines, is making a name for duplicating the performance of Eugene Torre on 1983. He is the main topic in all sports blogs in the internet by chess fans for reaching this far against the very best chess players around the world. So far Wesley So drawn the first to games and force a play-off against Russian Vladimir Malakhov.
Wesley So needs our prayers and our support, this is a big manifestation that Filipinos can compete against the best in the world.

Floyd Mayweather Jr., the former no.1 pound-for-pound king, retires and allows Paquiao holds his throne. Now that he is back in the sports of boxing, all he wants to do is to prove his claims that he is still the king.  And to attest to his claims, he must fight the best and that is Manny "PACMAN" Pacquiao.
